Rep. Amaad Rivera-Wagner
State Assembly District 90
Endorsed for Congress
Rick Crosson has spent a lifetime answering the call to serve. As a veteran and former school board member, he has always put people before politics. When our schools and students needed someone to stand up, Rick did.
At a time when too much of our politics is driven by division instead of delivering for everyday people, Rick leads with care, integrity, and a commitment to getting results.
Here in Green Bay, we believe in taking care of one another. Those are the values Rick will bring to Congress, and I’m proud to endorse him.
Dr. Kristin Lyerly
Former Democratic Candidate for Congress, WI-08 (2024)
Endorsed for Congress
I don’t give political endorsements lightly.
As a physician, I’ve spent my career making decisions that require trust, careful judgment, and putting people first. Those same qualities matter in public service.
That’s why I’m proud to endorse Rick Crosson for Congress.
I’ve gotten to know Rick, and what stands out isn’t only what he says, it’s how he treats people. He listens and leads with humility. And he never loses sight of who he’s here to serve.
I know and have worked alongside a lot of elected officials and candidates over the years, and I can tell you that Rick is someone who genuinely wants to serve others. I trust his character, his judgment, and his heart for Northeast Wisconsin. I hope you’ll join me.
Rep. Lee Snodgrass
State Assembly District 52
Endorsed for Congress
I am pleased to endorse Rick Crosson in his run for the 8th Congressional District. My experience with Rick has revealed a selfless, thoughtful, and principled man driven by a lifetime of service to others. Rick listens to understand, which will make him an excellent public servant. I believe Rick will work with the Democratic coalition in Washington, D.C., to push for policies that will provide relief and support for hardworking families, farmers, veterans and more. I look forward to voting for Rick Crosson in the August 11 primary.
Andrea Gage
Brown County Board of Supervisors
Endorsed for Congress
I am proud to endorse Rick Crosson for Congress. He is a man of integrity who understands that leadership is built on trust, service, and bringing people together to solve difficult problems. His military career taught him the value of diplomacy, collaboration, and steady leadership under pressure, and he has carried those qualities into his work in business and public service.
Rick shares the progressive values that Northeast Wisconsin deserves, while also understanding the unique challenges facing our farmers, small towns, and rural communities. He has consistently demonstrated a willingness to work across the aisle to find practical solutions rather than score political points. At a time when our politics too often reward division, Rick offers honesty, experience, and a genuine commitment to serving the people of Northeast Wisconsin above partisan politics. He has earned my enthusiastic support for Congress.
Carla Hales
Outagamie County Board Member
Endorsed for Congress
I am proud to endorse Rick Crosson for Congress. Over the past year, I’ve had the chance to get to know Rick, and I can honestly say he is one of the most genuine people I’ve met in politics. His years of military service shaped him into a leader who is steady, authentic, and grounded in service. Every interaction has reinforced that he genuinely listens, treats people with respect, and cares more about serving others than promoting himself.
Rick is approachable, thoughtful, and the same person every time you see him. He wants to know what matters to the people he hopes to represent, and he takes the time to listen. He has the ability to bring people together, work with people who don’t always agree, and focus on what unites us instead of what divides us.
Character matters to me. Integrity matters to me. The way someone treats people when there is nothing to gain matters to me. That is why I am proud to support Rick Crosson for Congress, and I hope you’ll consider supporting him, too.
James E. Winter
Mayor, Algoma, WI
Endorsed for Congress
Colonel Crosson is the only candidate, on either side of the aisle, in the race for the Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional seat who has put his life on the line for his ideals and that of the United States and its citizens. He is the only candidate in this race with real world experience with foreign powers, both friendly and enemies of the United States. After Honorably retiring from the US Army, he continues to put the citizens of the US and Wisconsin above all else. Being a US Army Combat Aviation veteran myself, I know the value of having competent leaders to represent us. I believe Rick represents the best of us, and I am proud to endorse Rick Crosson for US Congress.
James Lyerly
President, Green Bay School Board
Endorsed for Congress
During my year working alongside Rick Crosson on the Board of Education, I saw firsthand his dedication, serious leadership, and commitment to improving our community. His military background and leadership experience distinguish him from the field.
When I compare the candidates’ experience, judgment, and readiness to serve, Rick stands head and shoulders above the rest. Based on my personal experience serving with him, I’m proud to support Rick’s campaign for Congress.

Laura Laitinen-Warren, PhD, PHR
Executive HR Director, Oneida Nation; Former Green Bay School Board Member
Endorsed for Congress
I am honored to endorse Rick Crosson for United States Congress.
One of the qualities I admire most about Rick is his genuine desire to understand people. As a member of the Oneida Nation, I have appreciated watching him engage with our community. While serving on the school board, he attended our Oneida Reads event to better understand how to support literacy for Oneida children. What stood out to me even more was that the following year, after his time on the school board had ended, he returned to the event simply as a community member. His commitment was never about holding a position–it was about building relationships, listening, and learning.
What has impressed me most is his character. He leads with humility rather than ego, seeks to understand before being understood, and approaches people with respect. He looks for common ground and values different perspectives. In today’s political climate, those qualities are more important than ever.
I am proud to call him a friend, grateful for the positive influence he has had on my own leadership journey, and confident he will serve our communities with integrity, wisdom, and dedication. Yawʌ’ko (Thank you).
Lynn Gerlach
Former Alder, City of Green Bay; Former Trustee, Green Bay Area Public Schools
Endorsed for Congress
I proudly endorse Rick Crosson for U.S. Congress (Eighth Congressional District). I have complete confidence that he is the best person for the job and will excel on our behalf in the U.S. House of Representatives. Why? Because, through shared experience, I have come to know Rick on many levels:
• We served together on the Green Bay School Board, including teamwork to help the district design the new strategic plan. I witnessed his ability to analyze data, anticipate likely developments, and identify steps toward the best possible future. • I spent many years as a U.S. Army wife, so I truly understand and appreciate his outstanding military background. • Like Rick, my husband also went to Schneider National when he retired from the U.S. Army, so I appreciate Rick’s work with Schneider’s Strategic Client Group, after which he served as COO for another Wisconsin transportation company. • Like Rick, I have grown children and grandchildren, so I’ve come to know him and respect him as a loving, responsible parent and grandparent.
I’ve listened to Rick’s challengers many times and considered each one as open-mindedly as possible, and I am now completely confident that Rick Crosson would be our best voice in Washington, D.C. (In fact, I’ve already voted for Rick – and mailed my ballot with confidence.)
Mary Lou Yang
Green Bay School Board
Endorsed for Congress
Rick Crosson is an honest, personable, collaborative, and reliable leader who brings vast experience, strong community values, clear vision, and an unwavering determination to build a better future. His belief in finding practical solutions, 20+ years of military service, school board leadership, and long-time public service have given him the experience and perspective needed to effectively represent our community. I believe Rick Crosson is the right choice to serve as our representative.
Vote Rick Crosson for U.S. Congress on August 11th.
Ellen Voie
Founder, Women in Trucking Association; Author & Speaker
Endorsed for Congress
Rick Crosson has been a colleague and a friend of mine for over twenty years. He will challenge you to consider expanding your view regarding policies that affect the citizens of Wisconsin by looking at all sides of an issue. In fact, Rick will encourage you to expand your options rather than limit them to the current views that have divided this nation. This is something that is badly needed in politics.
Joe Miller
Stockbridge Munsee Community, Shawano County
Endorsed for Congress
Why do I like Rick? I think he is about as Mainstream America as you can get. It’s about leadership and independence.
John Koehler
USMC (Ret.) (1969–1972)
Endorsed for Congress
My name is John Koehler and I served in the USMC from ’69-’72 . Retired LT Colonel Rick Crosson is running for the 8th Congressional District seat . Rick served with distinction for 20 years earning a master aviator certification and as a trusted Embassy Officer for the United States.
He understands the commitment of military service having lived in many places throughout the world as his father was a career Army Sgt Major. Recently, his son retired after 20 years in the Army.
After retirement from the military, Rick had a very successful career as Chief Operating Officer of a regional trucking firm for several years.
Holding senior leadership positions both in the military and in private enterprise, he would land running on day one as Congressman for WI.
Rick and I would appreciate your vote in the primary on August 11, 2026.
Mark Smith
USAF (Ret.) Flight Medic (1971–1975)
Endorsed for Congress
My name is Mark Smith. I served in the USAF from 1971-75 as a flight medic during the Vietnam War. In fact, I got out of the Air Force the day Saigon fell.
The country I find myself living in currently is not the country I fought for. I fought for a diverse country where everyone has an equal opportunity to not only survive, but thrive – including the hippies at the air base gates during the Vietnam War and our shared 1st Amendment rights. As a European immigrant myself, I served my time for symbols like the Statue of Liberty under which is stated, “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…”
Rick Crosson represents the best of what Americans can be. His values, leadership style, diverse life experiences, and collaborative, thoughtful, personality lend themselves to a new breed of politicians we so desperately need today in the 8th Congressional District. If you are tired of fascists and billionaires hiding behind a nationalized religion of their own distorted creation, join me in voting for Rick Crosson as U S Representatives representing northeast Wisconsin.
Wayne Edwards
USAF (Ret.)
Endorsed for Congress
Congress members will be in meetings their entire term. This requires skills to get problems solved by working with people that want to do it another way. So, you can tell a lot about someone by how they participate in meetings. Rick Crossen has attended our Veterans For Peace meetings regularly. His input and leadership has been consistently insightful and pragmatic while being respectful of other participants – a real asset for congress and Dems. With his character values and people skills, I believe we have the right candidate for this office.
